The Mystery Booster 2 Playtest Card Notes section (reproduced here in individual Gatherer rulings) provides guidance for fitting these cards into the existing rules structure.
I’m not sure what wizard would want Lazav, Familiar Stranger as their familiar, but to each their own. (I would pick Owl Familiar, personally.)
